The second generation of Hyper Velocity 3D Printer is name after the MK42 suit of Iron man from the silver outlook of the printer. The design of the printer was inspired by E3D's Tool Changer and I added a few more function to it. The X-Y motion system is based on a pair of closed-loop controled stepper motors running on STM32 which makes the function of the motors fully adjustable. Also, the printer is equiped with 3Z (triple motor z axis) design which gives the printer the abbility to self-leveling. The tool graber, although fully redesigned, is compatible with the E3D eco-system.
The tool grabber, mostly consists of FR4, is machined by the MPCNC. And aluminum gears, aluminum coupling nut and zirconia contact cylinder and spheres are selected for their light weight.
The design objective of the remote mosquito tool is to be as light as possible in order to increase printing speed. The wind deflector and the fan mount are made of PBT which is capable of resisting 150C, since the previous PLA version deformed.
